EDUCATION
2015-present PhD English (Spring 2020 anticipated graduation)
Old Dominion University (Norfolk, VA)

My research thus far focuses on the industry forces acting upon the developing print culture in Victorian England. I am interested in the relationships between publisher/producer, author, and reader, as well as those between the economy and the acquisition of material goods necessary for production and innovation of the print culture. I am interested in The Strand Magazine and focus on the work of Arthur Conan Doyle. I hope to create digital projects to enhance my research in these areas. I am also invested in feminist rhetoric, nostalgia, and “fandom” and fan communities.
